NEW YEARS EVE DANCE PARTY

18+ to Attend | $10

PLAYDATE

The best pop music you will ever hear.

LYRIC

“Forget being signed. Paper fades. Legends don’t. I was born one.” This is what this band lives by. They started out as street musicians, filling downtown Asheville streets corners while touching many hearts . “The streets is where we love to be. We get so much positive feedback that it pushes us to work harder. This is where we started and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” said Leeda Jones(Lyric). With a sound and style that is so unique, they’re sure to please any crowd. Playing covers such as “Fast Car and Give me One Reason,” by Tracy Chapman, to their compelling version of Tear the Roof Off/ We Want the Funk,” by George Clinton, it would be hard not to get in the groove with them. Not to mention their well known catchy originals such as “Blue Skies,” and “So High,” which are loved by their many fans.

DR. GETRIGHT will be spinning dance tunes into the new year!

"America's AC/DC" THUNDERSTRUCK

THUNDERSTRUCK "America's AC/DC"

$10

Recreating the "Thunder From Down Under" throughout the Southwest, Midwest, Southern and Northeastern United States ...Thunderstruck is constantly adding new cities and aims to please every crowd, playing the songs you know and love from all eras of AC/DC. Dave Moody screeches out the ball breaking vocals of Bon Scott and Brian Johnson, covering all the hits and deep cuts from 1975's "High Voltage," to 2014's "Rock or Bust." Caleb White brings the sound and image of Angus Young to the stage, complete with a school boy uniform and Gibson SG. The rhythm section of the band is comprised of drummer Jerry Lawson, bassist Chris Jones, and rhythm guitarist Kevin Feller, who keeps the music rocking and solid with smooth precision. Striving to stay true to the AC/DC way, Thunderstruck obsesses over the tones and structures of each song's studio and live versions, also using all the gear necessary to bring the power and entertainment of a genuine AC/DC show. Thunderstruck can bring the High Voltage Rock n' Roll to any theater, ballroom, festival or special event.

Time Sawyer | $5
Dec

to Dec 9

Time Sawyer | $5

Time Sawyer is interested in “real people and real songs” and that’s just what the listener finds in their music – a sense of realness. Time Sawyer blends a grassroots feel with heart-felt lyrics to put on an entertaining show. From introspective ballads to high-energy crowd-pleasers, Time Sawyer’s songs land in that rootsy sweet spot where folk, alt-country, and rock gather for a good time.

The folk rock band’s name reflects the pull between the past and the future. The character Tom Sawyer evokes the rural background and love of home that lead vocalist/guitarist Sam Tayloe and vocalist/banjo player Houston Norris, share. Time is a muse for songwriting; it’s the thread that runs through life, bringing new experiences and giving us a sense of urgency, while still connecting us with our past.
