"Ashley Heath and Her Heathens" are a six piece Americana Band from Asheville, NC formed in May 2016. The music has a very much soulful/ blues/ rock element to it with powerful dynamic vocals and a heavy guitar presence. Often compared to a mix of Norah Jones and Susan Tedeschi. The band members consists of Ashley Heath on lead vocals, rhythm guitar, and lead guitar, Patrick Dodd on backup vocals and lead guitar, Casey Cramer on lead guitar, Ryan Burns on keys and organ, Elijah Cramer on bass, and Patrick Thomas on drums. Heath will be releasing her Sophomore album "Where Hope Never Dies" in Fall/Winter 2017 and will be the first album titled under the full bands name.
Heath's first album "A Different Stream" was voted #48 on WNCW's top 100 releases of 2016 and was nominated "Regional Artist of the Year - 2016" by The Greenville Journal. She was also voted #1 Acoustic/Folk artist and #2 Songwriter from the Mountain Xpress voters for 2017. Focusing extensively on getting the music out into the world, Heath has picked up her tour legs in 2017 by touring over the East Coast and regional areas. With the forming of her heathens, they've been able to play local festivals, music halls and listening rooms, and are looking forward to the release of "Where Hope Never Dies".
