THE GET RIGHT BAND
THE GET RIGHT BAND is “hip-shaking, earthquaking pure funk fun” (The Alternate Root). They are one of Relix Magazine’s “On The Verge” picks, Home Grown Music Network’s 2015 “Best New Band of the Year,” and were voted “Best Progressive Band” in Western North Carolina by Mountain Xpress readers. They have performed on the famed World Cafe, a nationally syndicated NPR show, and have brought their unique sound to major festivals and venues such as FloydFest, The Orange Peel, Music City Roots TV Show, The Green Parrot, Arlene’s Grocery, and Riverbend Fest. Combining catchy, clever, honest songwriting with musical expertise and fearless improvisation, the live show promises to move your head, heart, and hips.
BEN PHAN & THE SOUL SYMPHONY
Phan is a prolific poet, songwriter, and guitarist, with the soul of an improviser. He crafts his songs to give room for improvisation, presence, and self-expression in the moment. He believes that the best live music is when everyone playing is co-creating – which means that every one of his concerts offers audiences a different sound and a unique experience.
The Greenliners are a high energy acoustic ensemble, hailing from the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Asheville, NC. Built around a solid foundation of guitar, mandolin, and upright bass, The Greenliners deliver a genuine and well-rounded Americana music experience. Their performances blend progressive and traditional bluegrass numbers, with their own innovative and heartfelt originals, and choice Americana-folk cover tunes, to create a live show that leaves audiences excited and fulfilled. The group combines two of Western North Carolina’s favorite bluegrass acts…Jay Franck (mandolin) of Sanctum Sully, with Richard Barrett (guitar), Christian Ferri (bass) and Jackson Dulaney (dobro) of Bear Down Easy.
