Genre: Colorado Funk Twisted Reggae-Rock
Established in 2009, in Grand Junction, Colorado, Zolopht has become a premier act in the Colorado music scene. With heavy reggae, blues, funk and rock influences, Zolopht utilizes three part harmonies alongside a full horn section to produce a unique and welcoming sound.
Having shared the stage with such artists as: Rusted Root, Dirty Heads, Tribal Seeds, The Expendables, Passafire, Ballyhoo, The Main Squeeze, Stranger, Mike Pinto, J Boog and Hot Rain, Natural Vibrations, Maoli and Mystic Roots - Zolopht is having a break out year. Adding more cities to the lineup and headlining regional festivals, they have made their presence known.
If it weren’t enough to play any one style of music; by not limiting their sound to anything specific, their sonic experience goes beyond any one genre. We all know music is more than an identity; it’s encompassed in everything and is as diverse as the people who listen to it. We invite you to open up your ears and welcome Zolopht into your mind and soul.
